University Life

Hi Everyone! Today we will talk about 3 things about University of Chile that could be improved. Things which must be improved are: infrastructure, teaching methods and administration management. First, we think that there are many infrastructure problems such as repairs of the bathrooms doors, leaks in the Titanic (building), improvement of the acoustics of the classrooms. In the second place, we want to talk about the teaching methods. In this point we think the teachers should use a different method for teaching, more dynamic and participatory. Sometimes the contents are interesting but the way of teaching is not adequate and students lose concentration. Teachers could learn teaching method, and it would be a requirement for being a teacher. Finally, administration management sometimes can be disorganized. We can see this, for example in the selection of subjects, the distribution of resources for field trips, paying salaries for the assistant is very low. Besides, the distribution

Free post

Hi everyone! Today we must to write a free post, but I don’t know what to write. So I will talk about my favourite activities I like to do in my free times. The most important is to sleep, this is my priority, especially now when the semester is ending. Although this is not a great activity, I consider very funny anyway :D. On the other hand I like to read some book and drink a cup of coffee or watch some movie. But the thing I enjoy a lot is to play with my dog, although he is not very active, sometime we play with his favorite toy, a ball which sound when you press it. I have notice that we have a favorite common activity, which I have mentioned before, can you guess it? Another activity I like to do is archery, but I never gone to a competition. I like to do this because I have never be an athletic person and this don’t require a big physical effort. And I like to imagine I am killing people that I hate jaja is a joke, is not true. A job

Hi everyone! Today I will talk about a job I would like to do. By the moment I don’t have any work I like very much. I think I have never thought about a work I really like to do some day, anyway, we are talking about work!. But, I believe I would like to work in a bakery. Although, I am not very good cook, I would like to do this because this work is not very bad and in comparison with other, it seems to be funny, and I can learn. Besides, I always believed when cakes are left over you can eat them :D, but maybe this is not true. The qualities I need to do this job well is to know how to prepare cakes, cookies and others things that are make in a bakery, and learn to decorate cakes. I think I would be good at this job because I like to cook cakes and I like to decorate them, I really enjoy to do this when I can (in a birthday). By the moment I don’t know any person who inspire me, but I think is very beautiful and interesting to do this work.

A piece of art

Hi everyone! Today I will talk about a piece of art called “Waterlilies and Japanese bridge”, It was painting by an impressionist artist called Claude Monet, in 1899. I saw this for the first time in the school, when I was researching about the most important artist of the history. I like this painting because I like the impressionism and I like how express the light in the painting, it looks very real. This is a very beautiful art work. I think this painting is better than other art work because of how he uses the color and the technique and I believe this artistic movement is my favorite with the realism, in fact, I don’t like the abstract art, I don’t understand it. I think I have always wanted to paint like him one day. I like the art since I have 16 years old. When I was in the school, my teacher of arts took us to the “Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes” and another arts exposition and I used to avoid the abstract art. A website

Hi everyone! Today I will talk about a website I like. I have never think about this so I don’t know which choose. I think I like youtube, because I visit it every day. I found out about it a long time ago, searching music. At the start I don’t like use it, because I believed I must to pay for it, then I was prefer to listen the radio. But, after I discovered it is free! :D (I think many people have believed that many website aren’t free jaja). I like this website because I can listening to music and watch videos about cooking. I am very bad, but I try. Many times I have burned the kitchen, many rags and, sadly, the food. In fact, to avoid this accidents I like to prepare things that not use the kitchen. Besides I like to watch videos about handicraft and, when is necessary I watch ArcGIS tutorials, but I don’t like too much. London Webquest

Hi everyone! Today I will talk about one place that I knew in the class about London Webquest. This place is the London Eye. Located in London, County Hall, in Westminster Bridge Road; in the south bank of the river Thames. To get here you have many options, you can get on a car or you can take the public transport. In fact, you can take the tube, the London Eye is near to several underground stations like Waterloo, Embankment, Charing Cross and Westminster. If you want, you can take the bus, that includes the 211, 77 and 381. Also, the closest rail station to the London Eye are Waterloo and Charing Cross. To make the Fast Track you must pay £ 32.45. In this place, you can go aboard on a capsule at 135 m, in the largest cantilevered observation wheel in the world. I would like to visit this place because you can look London in a different perspective and because it would be amazing too.

A Journey

Hi everyone! Today I will talk about a journey I would like to make, so I would like to go all over Chile. I would like to star from the north and from there go to the south of Chile and visit all the places that I can. I would like to go because is beautiful and I have always liked the south of Chile. I don’t know who I would like go with, I see this journey like a distant journey. I think I would like to go with a loyal friend, like my dog, but he would miss my parents very much. I would like to camp and walk a lot, if I could, I would go walking across the south. I believe, this travel would not be very expensive, because is inside the country, but I have heard that the south is expensive in comparison to the center. But I don’t know how expensive will be because I don’t know how I will go, maybe it is going to be years before I can know all Chile at once.
